Heidelberger Hutte to Ramosch
August 1, 2007 Got up at 6:30a to a beautiful clear day and packed for our hike to Vna. Had frustock then set out toward Fimberpass (7:30a). The way led east up into the valley across from the hutte before turning southeast and making a rising traverse up to the pass (2608m – 8556ft) (8:30a). From here the trail led steeply down a looping route over scree slopes and into the Val Choglias below Piz Tschutta (3147m – 10,324ft). Once in the valley we followed the river for another three kilometers to the village of Vna (1630m – 5348ft) (12:00 noon). Here we rested and had lunch before catching the bus for the short ride down to Ramosch (1231m – 4038ft).
