Jenaz to Bad Ragaz
June 28, 2007 Left Jenaz at 9:00a and hiked along a good trail that passed through farms as it continued down valley toward Schiers. After severals miles the trail crossed the river and went through a narrow gorge before coming out emerging back to flat land about a mile before reaching Schiers (654m – 2145ft) (10:30a).
June 28, 2007 CONCLUSION From Schiers I continued down alongside the Landquart River through more farmland and a big scenic gorge. This was about two or three miles outside Landquart. The rest of the way into Landquart (628m – 2060ft) (12:15p) was a stoll along a good trail. I stopped in Landquart and had lunch. I crossed over the Rhine at Landquart before hiking the last three miles on a nice path along the Rhine River to Bad Ragaz (502m – 1647ft) (2:15p).
June 29, 2007 Left Bad Ragaz at 7:50a and had a nice stroll to Sargans via farmland and small villages. Arrived at Sargans 9:25a.
